This new app that I have for my iPhone gives me some flexibility with my creativity. This new app is called TiltShift Generator. The idea behind it is to make seemingly "miniature-looking" images by blurring parts of the background. This is an effect that was originally created by old view cameras that had lenses not well focused/corrected around the outer edges. "Rectilinear" lenses are lenses that have been designed to correct blurring or distortion. This "tilt-shift" idea does the complete opposite. Here are a couple of examples. (one note of caution, you need to have the composition be an arrangement that is further from the camera like a landscape in order for it to render well)
