Macro iPhone

What happens when you take a magnifying loop and place it in front of your iPhone lens? Take a look at the images below. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and the ability to get as close as I did to what I was photographing. One abnormality that occurred was the banding of light in a moray effect due to the close proximity of the light source itself.  If you keep the light source further away then you avoid the problem of banding but you also have the diminished light giving way to reciprocity failure. Here’s what I came up with…enjoy!
